Weight watcher scale customer review
I am very happy with this scale. I didn't really want one with a clear glass platform, but couldn't find anything I liked the looks of, so went with this. Now I love how it looks on my ceramic-tiled floor. But the important thing is how it weights. I think it's very good. For all I know, it could be a pound or two off, but does that really matter? All I care about is whether the numbers go down (yea!) or up (boo hoo!). I'm not going to drive myself nuts getting on and off every 5 minutes like some people seem to do.
I do, however, always weigh, step off, then weigh again (just my own quirk), and the weight is always exactly the same. I feel confident using it. So I think it functions just as it should and it looks great and the price was certainly right (saw this exact model in a store right after I ordered from Amazon, and it was $8 more, plus tax).
The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because of the stupid sticker that comes on it. As others have mentioned, there is a large, very hard-to-remove red sticker showing where you "tap" the scale (the middle of the glass platform) to turn it on. No matter how I tap, the scale does NOT turn on. Instead, I stick one toe under a corner, slightly lift the scale up, let it set back down on the floor and it comes on. Don't let this deter you. It's kind of ridiculous, but no big deal. Overall, I am VERY happy with this scale.

At first, I loved this scale. Then after a couple of weeks, I noticed I wasn't losing anything, not even a tenth of a pound. This was weird because I was on a pretty awesome diet, and had been losing about a pound every couple of days. So I kind of reset it by changing to kg on the back and then backs to lbs. My weight magically dropped a couple pounds just by doing this. The scale got so bad that I would have to do this every morning. I guess I was resetting it. If anyone else stood on it, it would give their weight, but each person's weight would stay the same day after day. It was frustrating to have to reset it, but at least I knew how to make it work. Then my tactic stopped working also. So I began to take the batteries out and put them back in to reset. This worked a couple of times.
This morning, I had a breakdown because the scale was giving me three different weights. Two that were within half a pound of each other and then another that informed me I had gained almost five pounds since yesterday (impossible since I haven't changed my diet and I worked out for two hours yesterday). Nothing was working in order for it to give me a single weight. So now, I have no idea how much I weigh, and I'm freaking out because I could have gained almost five pounds. I wouldn't recommend this scale to my worst enemy. It's the worst investment I've ever made on a product. I had taken a scale back and exchanged it for this one because I though the first one was horrible. I would take that one back over this one any day.
